The Dr Obagi Blue Radiance Peel Radiance is a Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid peel which effectively decongests, brightens and smoothens skin texture.

How long does a Blue Peel Radiance take?

Do I need to prepare my skin for the peel?
No. This is a superficial peel, so for the vast majority of clients, no skin preparation is required.
However, if your skin barrier is impaired (dry) then you will need to prepare the skin prior to an Obagi Blue Peel Radiance. Our skin specialists will be able to recommend suitable Obagi skincare products to restore your skin barrier before your peel. These are the same products we will recommend for you to use after your peel treatment to maximise results.
How will my skin look after the Blue Radiance Peel?
After a peel appointment, your skin will start to shed its outer layers. This is expected and necessary in order to deliver the rejuvenating results. The skin may peel for as long as a week and may appear slightly red during this time. It is important to avoid any sun exposure after treatment, because the freshly revealed skin will be very sensitive to the sun’s rays. Your skin should begin to look normal and refreshed after about a week, but you must continue to avoid sun exposure for at least a month.
